Observation:
Age: 9 yrs
Child is repeating the experiment number of times trying to think of the reason behind his observation. He is not bored of trying it more and more to understand the reason. Each time he is trying he is learning to think himself step by step. He reached a stage when he just wanted to understand and he was completely ready to absorb the explanantion. When explained, a big smile on his face manifested his sense of satisfaction in learning.
Views: Freedom to repeat provides an opportunity for a child to explore himself at his own pace. Providing help at the right time makes a difference in their absorption level.

Some more detail would be useful. For example, if you can lay out the kind of room you have, the kind of experiments you have, how children choose, how you have chosen the experiments, considerations of cost, etc. etc. it will be very usefu.
Perhaps, you can upload photos of your class layout. Describe your thoughts about this initiative. What you expect the children to gain from the process. Why you are documenting your observations. etc. etc.
I think this is a fabulous opportunity to document, and this is a great beginning! Would like to see a lot more detail in the weeks ahead. All the best.
